Creating your BASSMA account
What you need before your first upload.
BASSMA accounts are created by the BASSMA team rather than by self-signup. Once your agreement is in place you will receive an email invitation with a link to set your password.
What to have ready
- The legal name of the person or company that will receive royalties.
- The artist name exactly as you want it to appear in stores — this is hard to change after your first release goes live.
- A payout method you control. Bank account, PayPal, Wise and Payoneer are all supported.
- An authenticator app on your phone, such as Google Authenticator, for two-factor authentication.
Setting your password
The invitation link is single-use and expires. Passwords must be at least 8 characters. Use a password manager and a password you have not used anywhere else — this account controls where your royalties are paid.
Turn on two-factor authentication straight away, under Settings. Once it is on, signing in asks for a 6-digit code after your password.
If your invitation expired
Reply to the invitation email or contact BASSMA and a fresh link will be sent. Expired links cannot be reused, and the old one stops working the moment a new one is issued.
